What is a slut? Continued

I’ve begun trying this concept called a  Call to Action when stuck on writing a post. The idea is to write a post on CL and see what happens.

Here is the post itself in red….

What does a Slut mean to you?

Often when I peruse CL after a happy hour drink, I do it for amusement. Since I am an erotic blog writer and a thinker, I’ve noticed how men use the term Slut. Some of you use the term in an honoring way and others in a degrading way. Some want a Slut for the night and some want a Slut to spend the rest of their lives with. Me…I grew up being called slutty. Now at my mature age of 48 it’s given to me as the ultimate compliment. This my ‘Call To Action’ for my blog. I like to get your feedback on what is a Slut to you, why do you desire one and how a Slut can fulfill you. I will see what kind of blog post I will create out of this query and of course access to my blog. (Not that my blog is a big deal, but I like to keep it kind of private and for those that I think will like it.)Sincerely,
A Sluttly Slut in Austin
Flagged within a couple of hours,  I still received about 20 responses. Only one was completely horrible, something about large cucumbers.  Two only wanted to meet me and the rest were very thoughtful and one written like a high school essay.   A lot of you that came across my post were very curious what I received. Here is a few to read.
1. Good afternoon! While I agree with your premise that a slut is used as a compliment or a pejorative depending on the context in which it is used, I will tell you my overall definition of the word.  I consider a slut to be a person who has a healthy enjoyment of sex. Someone who has sex with people she’s attracted to, without attaching a great deal of emotional content to it.  An example would be finding a good tennis partner to play with.  A slut enjoys a good sex partner that provides great orgasms without drama and a lot of stress.  Most sluts are very upfront about their beliefs, and let you know that they are having sex with any number of people, and if that is an issue for you – then you should move on.  It took me awhile to adjust to this way of thinking, but gradually I have, and I have been fortunate to have various sexual experiences I would never have had otherwise.  I hope this helps you with your blog.

2. “Slut is a word that we call a woman who does not deny her sexuality,”

3. A slut to me is the ultimate prize. She does not put up a false front that she is reluctant to enjoy and/or initiate sexual activities. If she sees someone she wants she goes for it, if she is in a relationship, she is lewd and open when it is appropriate. She does not confuse sex with love.

4. For me a slut is a woman with an insatiable sexual appetite. A slut is a woman who can’t always be pleased by one man, which happens to turn me on a lot.

I gave this some more thought and felt that maybe there is an element missing to these responses. A Slut can engage in sexuality with detachment, hold no regret and leave what happened in the moment. That is a rare person that can do that EVERY time. Definitely,  there are times in a woman’s life where the Slut Life feels great and liberating, but it gets old. Some of us simply have high libidos, but we can still be very selective to the situation because being open to just any situation is unfulfilling. One friend I was speaking with got straight to the point….whether it be a woman or a man, a Slut is someone that has sex with anybody.

I hope y’all enjoyed these thoughts! Have a great week.
